Benefit b.right Radiant Skincare: Moisturised Toner

So continuing on with my Benefit b.right Radiant Skincare series review, today I’m looking at the Moisture Prep Toning Lotion, available from Benefit stores and counters for £23.50 for 177.4ml.

imageSo what does Benefit say…

’The special step for extra radiant skin. Moisture Prep Toning Lotion smoothes, revitalises & tones to allow the skin to fully optimise the maximum benefits of any moisturiser. Skin is hydrated, creating a soft, supple surface ready to absorb moisture.’

So the question – does it live up to that statement?

Admittedly I’ve only used this every now and again, mainly because I find toners as an un-necessary step. Sometimes I’ll use them to help reduce oil production, but in this case this product won’t do for oil removal.

As a moisturising toner by nature this does instantly hydrate the skin; in some ways it feels like a moisturiser in itself, and hence why I refrain from using it.

  • Very hydrating – great for dry skins!
  • Skin appears more radiant
  • Lightweight formula
  • Cute design – in a glass bottle (so don’t drop it!)

  • Get’s used up very quickly; went through half a 8.9ml bottle in only a few uses
  • Very moisturising, and if you’re supposed to moisturise on top of this, it may be too much for those with oilier complexions
  • Quite expensive; especially as you get through it so quickly
  • Again, it’s quite difficult to get a hold of with such a demand for the range.

Verdict = This depends on the nature of your skin; if you have very dry skin this is probably going to be a great toner for you as it really hydrates the skin, however if you don’t you may want to steer clear of it. Like it/Lose it.

Available online at (free delivery); ASOS (free delivery); and House of Fraser.
